16 years on or before the date of admission. There is generally no upper age limit for any

Admission Process

Sricity International University (SIU) is committed to selecting students through a transparent, equitable and merit-based admission process. The University offers admissions to B.Tech and BBA programs for the academic year 2026-27 through a well-defined multi-stream framework. All admissions are governed by the guidelines set forth by the Admission Committee of Sricity International University, whose decisions shall be final and binding.

Stream 1 — AP State Government Quota

Stream 1 seats for B.Tech programs are processed through AP EAPCET 2026 under the AP State Government Quota, constituting 35% of the total sanctioned intake. All eligibility norms, category reservations and counselling procedures are governed by Convenor, Admissions AP EAPCET 2026 guidelines.

  • Fee Reimbursement from Govt. of A.P: Students admitted to Sricity International University through AP EAPCET 2026 are eligible for AP Government's Reimbursement of Tuition Fee under 'Post Metric Scholarship (RTF)' scheme subject to verification and eligibility criteria prescribed by Government of Andhra Pradesh vide G.O.Ms.No.115, dated 30.11.2019 of Social Welfare (EDN) Department, G.O.Ms.No.14, Higher Education (E.C) Department dated 23.03.2020, G.O.Ms.No.04, dated 18.06.2024 of Social Welfare (EDU.1) Department and relevant instructions issued by Social Welfare Dept. and Higher Education Dept., Govt. of A.P from time to time. If any candidate is found not eligible for fee reimbursement, at a later date, the candidate shall have to pay the total fee as prescribed by the Competent authority.

Stream 2 — All India

Stream 2 is the primary All India admission channel for B.Tech programs, designed for candidates with a valid JEE Main score. Admission under this stream is based on a combined evaluation of JEE Main performance and Class 12 / Intermediate Board marks.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Must have successfully completed Class 12 / Intermediate or equivalent from a recognised board (CBSE / ICSE / State Board)
  2. Must have studied Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry (MPC) as core subjects
  3. Must possess a valid JEE Main score

    Merit Determination

    Final Merit Score = 50% weightage to JEE Main percentile + 50% weightage to Board marks

    Board marks obtained from different education boards are normalised to ensure fairness and uniformity in evaluation across all applicants. The normalisation process is carried out by considering the highest aggregate marks secured by an applicant from each respective board as the benchmark score (100).

    Normalised Score = (Candidate's Aggregate Marks ÷ Highest Aggregate Marks in the Same Board) × 100

    Tie-Breaking Rules

    In case of equal merit scores:

    1. Candidates with higher JEE Main percentile shall be given preference
    2. If the tie still persists, higher Board aggregate marks shall be considered
    3. If Board marks are also equal, higher marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry (MPC aggregate) shall be considered
    4. If the tie still persists, the candidate with earlier date of birth (older age) shall be given preference

    Note: In case sufficient candidates meeting the JEE cut-off are not available, the seats shall be filled based on merit derived from Class 12 / Intermediate Board marks.

Stream 3 — Fellowship

Fellowship Seats are awarded to meritorious students who qualify through a University-administered fellowship test and meet the prescribed eligibility criteria. Supported by the University's patrons and benefactors, these fellowships provide partial or full tuition fee to help deserving students pursue their education.

Stream 4 — Industry Partner Sponsored Seats

These are seats under which an industry partner sponsors a portion or the entire tuition fee payable to the university and offers an internship to the student, thereby supporting both the student's education and professional development.

Note: Vacant seats arising from no-shows (locked in admission but didn't join) or withdrawals after joining under All Streams, may be filled based on the merit in the Qualifying Examination (Class 12 / Intermediate Board marks / HSC).

Stream 1 — AP State Government Quota

Stream 1 seats for BBA programs are processed through AP OAMDC 2026 (Online Admissions Module for Degree Colleges), conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). Students may apply at the official portal: oamdc-apsche.aptonline.in

Stream 2 — All India

Stream 2 is the All India admission stream for BBA programs. Admissions under this stream are based on merit order based on normalised Intermediate / Class 12 Board performance.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Must have successfully completed Class 12 / Intermediate or equivalent examination from a recognised board such as CBSE / ICSE / State Board
  2. Candidates from any stream are eligible

    Merit Determination

    Merit is determined based on Intermediate / Class 12 Board marks. Board marks are normalised across boards using the same methodology as B.Tech.

    Board marks obtained from different education boards are normalised to ensure fairness and uniformity in evaluation across all applicants.

    Normalised Score = (Applicant's Total Marks ÷ Highest Total Marks in the Same Board) × 100

    Tie-Breaking Rules

    In case of equal merit scores:

    Tie Breaker 1: The candidate with the higher aggregate marks in subjects other than languages will be ranked higher

    Tie Breaker 2: Candidate with earlier date of birth (older age) shall be given preference

Stream 3 — Fellowship

Fellowship Seats are awarded to meritorious students who qualify through a University-administered fellowship test and meet the prescribed eligibility criteria. Supported by the University's patrons and benefactors, these fellowships provide partial or full tuition fee to help deserving students pursue their education.

Note: Vacant seats arising from no-shows (locked in admission but didn't join) or withdrawals after joining under All Streams, may be filled based on the merit in the Qualifying Examination (Class 12 / Intermediate Board marks / HSC).

The Admission Committee of Sricity International University has the final authority in all matters relating to eligibility, merit determination, seat allotment and interpretation of these Terms & Conditions. The decision of the Committee shall be final and binding.

Refund Policy

Refund is processed in accordance with the university refund policy and applicable regulatory guidelines. The amount eligible for refund varies depending on the date of withdrawal and the stage of the admission process. Processing begins after approval of the withdrawal request.
